Projects I build, and notes on what I learn along the way.
Projects
allRekenTrainer
A tiny PWA for daily arithmetic practice, with adaptive difficulty, a review queue and separate profiles — built so short daily sessions actually happen.
My Garage
A digital garage for car enthusiasts with a private fleet: every invoice, inspection and repair in one timeline, instead of scattered across a mailbox.
Picnic grocery agent
A grocery agent that plans the weekly menu, works out what's running low and fills the Picnic cart, so the weekly thinking no longer lands on one person.
This website
A lean personal site to share projects and notes, built on EmDash and self-hosted on my own VPS.
Writing
allA kitchen tablet that rates dinner
A Home Assistant dashboard that closes the loop for my grocery agent: recipes while cooking, ratings after dinner, and next week's menu picked from a shortlist.
We kept fighting about groceries. So I built an AI to end it
Every Sunday the same question: what are we eating this week? How a mental load discussion at home turned into a grocery agent, and why the question stopped being a discussion.
How my grocery agent works
Order history as a stock model, a skill and a few YAML files instead of an app, and every mistake turned into a house rule.
From WordPress to EmDash: first impressions
I wanted a lean place to share projects. WordPress felt heavy. EmDash felt closer to what I actually needed.
Why I'm sharing my ideas before they're finished
In 2008 I worked on OpenConcepts: share a concept early and let users shape it. The project never became big, but the idea did. This site is me finally applying it to my own ideas.
